We were given a lovely big room, which was a lovely surprise, considering the size of hotel rooms generally. The receptionist couldn't do enough for us, so overall quite happy with the hotel
No view of the sea, but literally 3 min walk to beach
This hotel was very luxurious for being in a very small, remote town. It was very popular with golfers with a course nearby. The lobby was always full of them when we walked through. It was a short walk to the seaside view of the Atlantic ocean, and the Cliffs of Moher was a 10 minute drive away. The onsite parking was a nice benefit.
Hotel advertised that it had wireless internet in all rooms. This is false advertising! Wireless is available in only a small selection of rooms near reception. You need an ethernet cable to connect in other rooms. This was not explained and an ethernet cable was but given. The staff didn't really seem to care! Rooms were also small and the nightly rate was high!
The room was clean and spacious, the receptionists were pleasant and courteous and the hotel at large was clean and modern.
Website led me to believe that the hotel over looked the beach and wifi throughout which there wasn't. The shower was poor.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Our children really enjoyed the leisure complex and its convenience to our room. Lahinch has a stunning beach and is great for surfers including beginners. So location of the hotel is great.
The appearance and size of the hotel is not very aesthetically pleasing especially in such a beautiful seaside town
Staff were friendly and Leisure centre was very nice.
Breakfast was stone cold. Wi-fi only available in the lobby and the bar - not available in the rooms.
Hotel was ideally situated for the fabulous beach at Lahinch, for going out at night and for town shopping. Perfect location. Nice hotel.
I was in a very crummy upstairs room with velux room which meant I had no window view in the lovely Lahinch. Would never stay in this type of room again, would check first what room was like. This was a hot August weekend. The room was like a hothouse. Hotel was lovely. Food served as room service was terrible. When I received it, it was the wrong order. Second time round (and ages later) the food was totally burned. Sent it back and got nothing. Nobody bothered to follow up on it.
I liked the location and the hot tub which was only turned on for 1 out of our 2 day stay
The fact that the steam room sauna were at low temperature and the jacussi was out of use on one of the days. I think the leisure center facilities were alternated to save on esb
excellent location for exploring surfing beaches and surrounding coastline which is largely unspoilt.Hotel is in center of village and all night life is within two to three minutes walk of hotel.ample carparking at hotel, good gym and pool.
warm beer in bar, breakfast room very small and can be a bit manic.
Relaxed quiet hotel and very close to the beech
Hotel so big with long corridors, and the token for the car park ridiculous, had to keep going back to reception for a token and this was a trek from the car park
Nice friendly hotel, clean, accessable and functional. A good 3 star hotel, but not a 4 star hotel by a long shot
Bar staff was not appropiate. Poor quality pint of Carlsberg served, on querying where it was off, was informed after her smelling it, that that was how it should be. Not appropiate way to deal with complaint
it is in a centeral location
The dining room was excellent, the rooms were clean and well kept and the location was perfect
I had a very difficult time contacting the hotel by telephone;in fact ,impossible. I then used email which worked well. I contacted three other hotels all over Ireland by telephone without any problem
the location in Lahinch was great, hotel was lovely, unfortunetly they were shutting up for the winter so things were a bit limited but overall it was a great hotel
we were put in an adjoining room and a family with young children moved in next door and were rather noisey, but when we reported it to reception they gave us another room straight away, but we had to move our own bags and there was no apologies....
NIce room, central location, good breakfast and friendly staff.
Free WiFi was good but signal in certain parts of the room was poor.
